Richard Stefanacci, MD
On the policy side, Dr. Stefanacci served as Health Policy Scholar for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) through his role at Thomas Jefferson University, College of Population Health where is maintains a faculty appointment. He has over 500 publications in addition to delivering well over 1000 lectures both nationally and internationally focused on efficient and effective care delivery.

Dr. Richard Stefanacci has focused his career on care systems to improve health outcomes. He has put this focus into practice as chief medical officer (CMO) for several management care plans including ElderHealth/Bravo/HealthSpring/Cigna and PACE (Program for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) programs. Currently, Dr. Stefanacci is responsible as medical director for both the AtlantiCare/Geisinger Post-Acute Care Services and LIFE Connection/PACE program.



Jag Khatter, PharmD, CDE
Dr. Khatter is currently the V.P. of Operations for PharmcareUSA Western Region. He received his Pharmacy degree from the University of Colorado. Jag has received many awards including “Pharmacist of the Year” in the state of Colorado. He is board certified in Pain Management and Diabetes. His clinical work involves population health and medication management for geriatric patients. Jag launched several diabetes initiatives as a VP of Innovation for Walgreens to increase revenues and establish Walgreens as the destination for people with diabetes. Jag developed and executed a strategic plan for the growth of a “startup” Assisted Living Pharmacy (SeniorMed) in Aurora, CO where several new hub pharmacies were started to service assisted living communities in 30 states. Jag has served as member of the Board of Directors for Joint Commission for Pharmacist Care Accreditation. He has also served as a BOD for Colorado Pharmacist Society, Chairman of Assisted Living Task Force for the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and Chairman for the Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy.



Naushira Pandya,MD
Dr. Pandya is Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Endocrinology and Metabolism. She is Professor and Chair of the Geriatrics Department at Nova Southeastern University, Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine; Project Director of the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) Director, Geriatrics Medicine Clinic at Nova Southeastern University; Certified Medical Director of Long-Term Care Facilities Dr Pandya is internationally recognized and a published authority and speaker in the area of management of diabetes in the elderly, geriatric endocrinology, and long-term care medicine; other research interests include anemia, pituitary dysfunction, and frailty.


Laura J. Walker, MSN, NPD-BC, CNE, CCRN short bio
Laura Walker is a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) with over 20 years of clinical practice experience. Her areas of expertise include invasive cardiology, emergency room nursing and occupational safety. Laura serves as the Clinical Safety Programs Manager for Lehigh Valley Health Network in Southeastern Pennsylvania. In her manager role, Laura functions as a clinical expert, facilitator and champion of safety and scientific inquiry to enhance both patient and employee health and workplace safety. Laura provides oversight of policies, programs and initiatives to reduce injuries and adverse events from impacting colleagues, patients, and the environment of care. Her contribution to the nursing science includes several successful scholastic publications with emphasis on clinician workplace safety.
